Ethelbert is looking for host families who will provide regular experiences for children who have been deprived of these due to being abandoned, abused or severely neglected. Host families can take a child out for a day, weekends and/or school holidays.

All host placements are carefully vetted and planned, with on-going support being given through regular meetings and telephonic contact to assist the host family in meeting the child’s social and emotional needs.

Ideally, host families must be willing to become persons on whom the child can rely. Therefore, only those who are able to make this commitment should consider becoming involved in the host programme.
